About this journey

Spiti isn’t for people looking for a holiday; It’s for people looking for a story. Explore Spiti Valley in 8 days and 7 nights with Kaza, Key Monastery, Hikkim, Komic, Langza, Chandratal, Tabo and Kunzum Pass on an unforgettable Himalayan road trip.

Hidden deep in the Trans-Himalayas, Spiti Valley strips life down to its essentials—vast mountains, crystal-clear skies, ancient monasteries, tiny villages, and roads that test both your courage and your camera roll. You’ll drive across some of India’s highest mountain passes, sleep beneath skies crowded with stars, sip butter tea in centuries-old monasteries, and discover villages where life moves at its own timeless pace.

At Indian Banjara, we design Spiti journeys with the mountains in mind—not the clock. We know where to stop for the best chai with a view, which café serves the perfect bowl of thukpa after a long drive, when to visit Chandratal for the fewest crowds, and why the most unforgettable moments often happen between destinations.
